When Erica’s uncles sends her an elephant for her 10th birthday, both her and the elephant became very confused. Luckily, the elephant earns a reputation, but not for long. The dastardly owner of the zoo plans to steal the elephant and Erica has to try her hardest to save it. I really liked the book and my favourite part was when Erica discovered that Mrs Pritchet, her next-door neighbour, did not tell the police about the elephant. This was very unexpected for me as a reader, as I thought the complete opposite of what had happened. I learned that however unlikely, you can become friends with anybody. I recommend this book because it has a great plot and everything in it is very unexpected.
