I knew that I wanted to read on from the moment I read the blurb of Cogheart. I had heard about it from my friends, but once I saw the book, I knew it was for me. It is set in 1896 in London and the main character is a girl called Lily. She is clever and brave, particularly as she finds out her father has been in an accident. She decides she has to find out if her father is alive and she gets help from her friend Robert.
I loved this book because I loved hearing about Lily’s world and how humans live with mechanic animals. It is an emotional book, plus it is an adventure and a mystery. I would really recommend this book, as I couldn’t put it down.
