Erica’s Elephant is a heart-warming story about a girl who receives an elephant for her 10th birthday and forms an unlikely relationship with him. I think Erica is a very kind-hearted character, who goes out of her way to help others and make their lives better. She aspires to make the world a more bearable place, but lacks experience with the problems she faces. I recommend this book because it is easy to read with delightfully woven passages, structures for comedy and enjoyment, as well as having themes of love and friendship.
