The Awesome Book Awards 2020 will follow the timetable below:
- 1st October 2019: Announcement of the shortlist
- October 2019 – November 2019: Awesome Book Awards packs will be posted out to all registered schools
- October 2019 – March 2020:
- Reading of the shortlist by participating schools
- Author Q&As featured monthly on the website
- Pupil book reviews for the website can be sent in during this period. Please email them to info@awesomebookawards.com
- Monthly digital e-newsletters will be sent out. Please read these as they contain important information about the Awards as well as the voting process
- Late February 2020/early March 2020: Schools will be asked to register their school for tickets. Please note that tickets are issued on a first come first served basis and there will be a maximum number of tickets to ensure that as many schools as possible are able to attend the Awards.
- 2nd March 2020: Online voting opens. Please visit our FAQs page to find out more about the voting process.
- March 2020: Wristbands will be posted out to each school. These must be worn on the night; we will not allow entry without wristbands so please remember to bring them.
- 24th April 2020: Online voting closes.
- 30th April 2020: Awards Ceremony at Cranleigh School with the shortlisted authors!
